Later from Rio Janeiro.

New York. December 27.
--The steamer North America, from Rio Janeiro on the 2d instant, via Bahia, Pernambuco and St. Thomas, has arrived. The Emperor returned from the Rio Grande Del Sud, causing great rejoicing.

Coffee is lower. Flour advancing. The Paraguayans have withdrawn entirely across Upper Parana out of Corrientes.

The Brazilian fleet is at the mouth of the Paraguay river.

The allied army crossed the river Corrientes, on its march to Parana, near Gosea. It will be sent in vessels up that river to a point selected for further operations.
