καὶ ὅλως δὲ ὅπου σχεδόν τι ἐφ᾽ ὁμολογουμένοις ἀδικήμασιν αἱ κατηγορίαι γίνονται, διὰ τὸ πρόδηλα εἶναι τὰ ἀδικήματα, σφοδρότητος ὁ λόγος τυγχάνει, ὡς καὶ ἐν τῷ κατὰ Μειδίου καὶ ἐν τῷ κατὰ Ἀριστογείτονος. τὸ δὲ μέγιστον εἰδέναι χρή, ὅτι ὅταν ᾖ μὴ ἰσχυρὰ ζητήματα ἐξ ἑκατέρων τῶν μερῶν, ἀλλ᾽ ὑπάρχῃ θατέροις μὴ πρόδηλα αὐτὰ εἶναι, ὁ δὲ ὡς ἐπὶ ὁμολογουμένοις [p. 494] σχεδὸν τοῖς ζητήμασι συνάγει τὸν λόγον, οἷός ἐστιν ὁ κατὰ Μειδίου.
