[11] πολλοῦ μέντ̓ ἂν ἄξιον ἦν ἡ ῥᾳθυμία τῷ βίῳ, καὶ ὅ γε Σαρδανάπαλος τὰ πρῶτα πάντων εἰς εὐδαιμονίαν ἐφέρετο, ἢ καὶ ὁ Μαργίτης, ¹ εἰ βούλει, ὃν οὔτ̓ ἀροτῆρα οὔτε σκαπτῆρα οὔτε ἄλλο τι τῶν κατὰ τὸν βίον ἐπιτηδείων εἶναι Ὅμηρος ἔφησεν, εἰ δὴ Ὁμήρου ταῦτα.
