1. admiration Tw.N. II. i. 29 “such estimable wonder,” Wint. V. i. 133, Lucr. 84 “In silent wonder of stillgazing eyes.”
2. miracle, miraculous quality, miraculous means Err. III. ii. 30 “by what you do hit of mine” (i.e. my name)? Shr. II. i. 403 [411], Oth. III. iv. 100 “there's some wonder in this handkerchief.”
