blazon vb. (used partly with heraldic metaphor)
1. to describe fitly, set forth honourably in words, publish the praises of Rom. II. vi. 26, Oth. II. i. 63 “the quirks of blazoning pens,” Compl. 217 “With wit well blazon'”
2. to proclaim, make public Tit. IV. iv. 18 “blazoning our injustice every where,” Cym. IV. ii. 170.
