boiled: “boiled brains” (Ff1 2 3 hyphened), hot-headed fellows Wint. III. iii. 63 (cf. Tp. V. i. 60, and MND. V. i. 4 “Lovers and madmen have such seething brains” ); in “boil'd stuff” Cym. I. vi. 125 there is an allusion to the sweating-tub.
