I. iii. 124 “Art thou good at these kickshawses, knight?.” ∥ Florio, 1598, defines the Italian ‘Carabozzada’ as ‘a kinde of daintie dish or quelque chose vsed in Italie’; Cotgr., 1611, the French ‘Fricandeaux’ as ‘short skinlesse, and daintie puddings, or Quelkchoses’.
