AD PANNONIOS Caraş-Severin, Romania.

Roman camp and civil settlement 2 km N of Teregova, on the right bank of the Timil. The ancient name, probably referring to Pannonian colonists, is mentioned in early sources (Tab.Peut.; Rav.Cosm. 4.14). The camp was 120 m long. Cohors VIII Raetorum was stationed here. The flourishing civil settlement, on the Dierna-Tibiscum road, was probably a vicus.
