BARGASA Turkey.

Site in Caria, perhaps at Haydere, 11 km SE of Bozdoğan, in the valley of the Harpasos. The region at least is certain, both from Ptolemy (5.2.15) and from coins and inscriptions found in the neighborhood. The ruins of a town or city with a gymnasium have been found at Haydere.
