FAGIFULAE (Montagano) Molise, Italy.

A center of the Pentri Samnites and a Roman municipium (Pun. HN 3.107). The name appears in that of the church of S. Maria di Faìfoli in the valley of the Biferno (ancient Tifernus). The site has never been excavated. It is doubtful that it is to be identified with the center mentioned by Livy (24.20.5).
