ROYAT Communes of Royat and Chamalières, Puy-de-Dôme, France.

There are many mineral springs all along the W fault escarpment of the Limagne. The Royat springs, near the old mill of Saint-Mart at the mouth of the gorge of the Tiretaine, were exploited in Roman times. A pool is preserved in the park of the modern bath.
