SAINT-LOUP-DE-COMMINGES
Haute-Garonne,
France.
On a slope dominating the Gesse, the
remains of a Gallo-Roman establishment were excavated
in 1947. Apparently it was occupied from the end of the
3d to the 5th c. A.D. In it were found carved ivories, Alexandrian products of the 3d or 4th c. These are now on exhibit at the museum of Saint-Germain.
