(“Vicus Spacarum”) Pontevedra, Spain.
City on the Atlantic coast of Galicia. A Celtic camp located here was replaced by a Roman town, probably the Vicus Spacorum of the Antonine Itinerary
. Finds include 20 funeral stelai, the work of local Romanized artists.
They bear symbolic reliefs and inscriptions (discs, radiated circles, stars), and one of them is an altar to Mercury.
