Thuc. 2.43 “ὠφελίαν, ἣν ἄν τις πρὸς οὐδὲν χεῖρον αὐτοὺς ὑμᾶς εἰδότας μηκύνοι”: ib. 36 “μακρηγορεῖν ἐν εἰδόσιν οὐ βουλόμενος”: Il. 10.250 “εἰδόσι γάρ τοι ταῦτα μετ᾽ Ἀργείοις ἀγορεύεις”. Cp. on 1038.
