Cp. n. on 162—210. κτανόντας refers to Creon himself (for the plur., cp. 10), as θανόντας to Haemon: for the “παρήχησις”, cp. Ph. 336“ὁ κτανών τε χὡ θανών.” ἐμφυλίους = συγγενεῖς: cp. O. T. 1406 “αἷμ᾽ ἐμφύλιον” (n.): O. C. 1385 “γῆς ἐμφυλίου”, ‘the land of thy race.’
