ἑτοίμαν, imminent, i.e. for which everything is prepared; Il. 18.96 “αὐτίκα γάρ τοι ἔπειτα μεθ᾽ Ἕκτορα πότμος ἑτοῖμος”: Plut. Mor. 706C “ἕτοιμον τὸ διαφθαρῆναι τοῖς μὴ βοηθοῦντα:. . .τὸν λογισμὸν ἔχουσι” (corruption is imminent for those who have not reason to aid them). Cp. 936.
