οἷον τόδ̓...“ἀμφίβλ. καθῆψεν”=“οἷον τόδ᾽ ἀμφίβληστρόν ἐστιν, καθῆψεν”: cp. 184.

δολῶπις, ‘with deceitful face,’ smiling on him while plotting evil.

Ἐρινύωνἀμφίβληστρον: cp. Ai.1034ἆρ᾽ οὐκ Ἐρινὺς τοῦτ᾽ ἐχάλκευσεν ξίφος; The epithet ὑφαντὸν marks that the ‘net’ is the robe: just as, in Aesch. Ag.1580, “ὑφαντοῖς ἐν πέπλοις Ἐρινύων”, it marks that a real robe is meant. (So an eagle is “πτηνὸς κύων”, Aesch. P. V.1022.) A net would properly be described as “πλεκτόν” rather than “ὑφαντόν” (cp. Pollux 7. 139 “δικτυοπλόκος”).
