τὸν ἔννυχον Ἅιδαν: O. C.1559“ἐννυχίων ἄναξ”. Cp. Il.15. 187“τρεῖς γάρ τ᾽ ἐκ Κρόνου εἰμὲν ἀδελφεοί, οὓς τέκε Ῥείη”, | “Ζεὺς καὶ ἐγώ, τρίτατος δ᾽ Ἀΐδης ἐνέροισιν ἀνάσσων”. The allusion is to Pluto carrying off Persephonè.
