QUIRINENSES

the name given to those who dwelt in a particular street or district, evidently on the Quirinal (cf. PARIANENSES, CICINENSES). They are mentioned only once (CIL vi. 9103=31895), but the same district is doubtless referred to in the 'vestiarius a Quirinis' of another inscription (CIL vi. 9975). Probably this street or district was near the temple of Quirinus (HJ 409).
