Ἀμύκλαι , αἱ, sort of shoes, named after Amyclae, Theoc.10.35:—also ἀμυ-ᾷδες , αἱ, Ar.Fr.44D., Phryn.Com.5 D., cf. Poll.7.88, Hsch. Ἀμυκλαϊάζω , speak in the Amyclean (i.e. Laconian) dialect, Theoc.12.13.
