Ἀπειραῖος , α, ον,
A.Apeiraean, and Ἀπείρηθεν , Adv. from Apeire, both in Od.7.8,9 γρῆϋς Ἀπειραίη . ., τήν ποτ᾽ Ἀπείρηθεν νέες ἤγαγον. Apeire seems to be Limitless-land (from ἄπειρος B), an imaginary place; Hsch. expl. by ἠπειρωτική.
