A.side with the Orchomenians, Hellanic.81 J. (but perh. not Hellanic.).—The old Boeot. form was Ἐρχ- , and this is found in Inscrr. and on coins to the time of Alexander, SIG60 (v B. C.), IG7.3166, al., BMus.Cat.Coins Central Greece p.54: the Arcadian Orchomenians are similarly “Ἐρχομένιοι” SIG31.12 (Delph., v B. C.), “Ἐρχομίνιοι” IG5(2).343 (Orchom. Arc., iv B. C.).
