1. Δ. νᾶσος the Dorian island, of Aegina and Peloponnesus, Pi.N.3.3, S.OC696 (lyr.), etc.
2. (with or without γῆ) Doris, in Northern Greece, Hdt.8.31, Plu.Them.9, etc.
3. Δ. κόρα a Dorian damsel, E.Hec.934 (lyr.).
4. (sc. κοπίς) Dorian knife used at sacrifices, Id.El.819.
5. Δωρίς, = ἔχιον, Dsc.4.27.
b. = λεοντοπέταλον, Ps.- Dsc.3.96 (also δωριπτερίς ibid.).
