A.man-monkey, name of a race of mischievous dwarfs connected by legend with Heracles, Diotim. ap. Suid.s.v. Εὐρύβατος; ἕδραι Κερκώπων, near Thermopylae, Hdt.7.216; subject of poem ascribed to Hom., Harp., Suid.
