II. a river in Libya, joining the lake Tritonis with the sea, A.Eu.293, Hdt.4.178,191; ποταμὸς Τρίτων, = Νεῖλος, A.R.4.269, cf. Lyc.576, Plin.HN5.53.
2. a mountain-stream in Boeotia, running into lake Copais, Str.9.2.18, Paus.9.33.7.
