δηλα^δή (cf.
A.δῆλος11.4), Adv. clearly, manifestly, Epich.149, S.OT 1501, E.IA1366, Timocl.3 D., etc.: ironically, προφάσιος τῆσδε δηλαδή on this pretext forsooth, Hdt.4.135: freq. in answers, “οὐ πόλλ᾽ ἔνεστι δεινὰ τῷ γήρᾳ κακά;—δηλαδήyes plainly, of course, Ar. V.441: but better written divisim in such phrases as “ δῆλα δὴ ὅτι . .;Pl.Prt.309a, etc.; cf. “δῆλα δὴ καὶ ταῦταId.Cri.48b.
