2. expiation, sacrifice, S.Ant.775, Fr.689, prob. so in A.Ch.155.
3. ἄγεα: τεμένεα, and ἀγέεσσι: τεμένεσι, Hsch.; ἄγη: τὰ μυστήρια, AB212. (ἅγος τὸ καθαρόν, σέβασμα) postulated by Gramm. (cf. ἅγιος ἐκ τοῦ ἅγος γέγονεν Et.Gud.) is not found, unless “ἄγος3 be a dialectic form.)
