ἄνοσος , Ion. and Ep. ἄνουσος , ον,
A.without sickness, healthy, sound, of persons, “ἀσκηθέες καὶ ἄ.” Od.14.255; “ἄ. καὶ ἀγήραοι” Pi.Fr.143, cf. Pl.Ti.33a; “ἄπηρος, ἄ.” Hdt.1.32; “λῶστον δὲ τὸ ζῆν ἄ.” S.Fr.356. Adv. “ἀνόσως, διάγειν” Hp.Epid.1.1; “ζῆν” Ph.1.267; “ἄ. ᾤχετ᾽ ἐς ἡμιθέους” IG 5(2).472.13 (Megalopolis, ii/iii A.D.).
