A.“τιμή” 1) unhonoured, dishonoured, Il.1.171; μετὰ πᾶσιν ἀτιμοτάτη θεός εἰμι ib.516; “ἀτιμότερον δέ με θήσεις” 16.90; ἀτιμότεροι, opp. λαχόντες τιμῆς, Thgn.1111; “ἄ. μόρος” dishonourable, A.Th.589; ἄτιμα δ᾽ οὐκ ἐπραξάτην, i.e. they have met their deserts, Id.Ag.1443; ἄτιμος Ἀργείοισι by them, S.Aj.440; ἔκ γ᾽ ἐμοῦ by me, Id.OC51.
b. c.gen., ἄ. δωμάτων without the honour of . . , not deemed worthy of . . , A.Ch.409 (lyr.); πάντων ib.295; “ἐκφορᾶς” Id.Th.1029; χάρις οὐκ ἄ. πόνων no unworthy return for . . , Id.Ag.354; “ὧν μὲν ἱκόμην ἄιμον ἐξέπεμψεν” S.OT789.
2. deprived of civic rights (cf.ἀτιμία）“, ἄτιμα τὰ τέκνα γίνεται” Hdt.1.173, cf. IG1.37, 9(1).334 (Locr.), etc.; opp. ἐπίτιμος, Ar.Av.766, Ra.692, And.1.80; ἄ. τὰ σώματα ib.74: c.gen.; ib.75; ἄ. γερῶν deprived of privileges, Th.3.58; ἄ. τοῦ τεθνηκότος debarred from all rights in him, S.El.1214; ἄ. τοῦ συμβουλεύειν deprived of the right of advising, D.15.33; “ἄ. τῆς πόλεως καθιστάναι τινά” Lys.12.21; “ἄ. εἶναι καθάπαξ” D.21.32, Arist.Ath.22.8.
3. of things, not honourable, Hdt.5.6（Sup.); ἄτιμον ποιεῖσθαί τι hold in dishonour, S.Ant. 78; “ἄτιμα ποιεῖν ἔς τινα” Hdt.2.141; “ἄ. τοὔργον” Ar.Av.166; “ἕδρα ἀτιμοτέρα” less honourable, X.Cyr.8.4.5; of parts of the body, “τὸ τιμιώτερον καὶ τὸ ἀτιμότερον” Arist.PA672b21; “ἀ. σκεῦος” D.S.17.66.
II. (“τιμή” 11) without price or value, τοῦ νῦν οἶκον ἄτιμον ἔδεις thou devourest his substance without payment, Od.16.431; of little price, cheap, opp. τίμιος, X.Vect.4.10.

3. unpunished, Pl.Lg.855c.
