A.“ἄσω” Il.11.818: aor. 1 subj. “ἄσω” 18.281, inf. ἆσαι (v. infr.): aor. 2 subj. 1pl. “ἕωμεν” 19.402:—Med., Ep. 3sg. “ἄα^ται” Hes.Sc.101; cf. ἆται: πληροῦται, Hsch.: fut. “ἄσομαι” Il.24.717: aor. “ἀσάμην” 19.307:—satiate, αἵματος ἆσαι Ἄρηα to give him his fill of blood, 5.289: but,
II. mostly intr., take one's fill of a thing, “ἱεμένη χροὸς ἄμεναι” 21.70; λιλαιομένη χροὸς ἆσαι ib.168, cf. 15.317; “γόοιο μὲν ἔστι καὶ ἆσαι” 23.157:—Med., “ἄσεσθε κλαυθμοῖο” 24.717; “ποτῆτος ἄσασθαι φίλον ἦτορ” 19.307. (Root sā: s[schwa], cf. ἄ-ατος, ἅ-δην.）
