A.against the will, constrained, of acts or their consequences, “καὶ τῷ οὔ κως ἀεκ. ἐγίνετο τὸ ποιεύμενονHdt.2.162; “τλήσομαι . . ἀεκούσια πολλὰ βίαιαThgn.1343; “ἐς . ἀνάγκας πίπτεινTh.3.82; “πόνοιDemocr. l.c.; often in Att. of involuntary offences, “. φόνοςAntipho 3.2.6; πράκτορες τῶν ἀκουσίων ib., cf. II. of persons, only in Adv. ἀκουσίως involuntarily, Th.2.8, Pl.Ti.62c; . ἀποθανεῖν, opp. ἑκουσίως ἀποκτείνειν, Antipho 1.5; . τινὶ ἀφῖχθαι to have come as an unwelcome guest, Th.3.31.
