A.pure, unmixed, “ὕδωρ” Arist.HA605a15; “οἶνος” Dsc.5.6; “ἀργύριον” Poll.3.86, etc.; untouched, γῆ, νομή, Pl.Criti.111b, Arist.HA 575b3; unalloyed, “ἡδοναί” Epicur.Sent.12.
2. of persons, pure in blood, E.Ph.943.
