ἀλάλημαι [α^λα^], pf. of ἀλάομαι, only in pres. sense (part. ἀλαλήμενος with accent of pres., Od.14.122),
A.wander, roam about, like a beggar, Hom. mostly in Od., 2.370, 15.10, etc.; of seamen, “μαψιδίως ἀλάλησθε3.72, cf. 313; of a departed spirit, “. ἀν᾽ εὐρυπυλὲς Ἄϊδος δῶIl.23.74; of things, “μυρία λυγρὰ κατ᾽ ἀνθρώπους ἀλάληταιHes. Op.100 :—once Trag., in plpf., “ἀλάληντοE.Andr.306 (lyr.).
