A.change, alter, “φύσινHp.Praec.9 ; τροφὴν ἐςτὸ γάλαId.Gland.16, Pl.R.381a, etc.
2. represent as ἀλλοῖος (q. v.), Plot.3.6.3.
II. Pass., fut. “-ωθήσομαιGal.UP8.6, etc., but -ώσομαι ib.10.1:—become different, be changed, Hp.Vict.1.4, etc.; “ἀλλοιοῦσθαι τὴν γνώμηνTh.2.59; “τῇ ὄψειX.Cyn.9.4; ἀλλοίωσιν ἀλλοιοῦσθαι undergo an alteration, Pl.Tht.181d; rare in Poetry, “ὄλοιντ᾽ ἰδοῦσαι τούσδ᾽ ἂν ἠλλοιωμένουςE.Supp.944.
