A.ambidextrous (cf. ἀμφαρίστερος), Hp.Aph.7.43 (wrongly expl. by Glaucias ap.Erot., S.E.M.7.50), Arist.EN1134b34; = περιδέξιος, Hippon.83. Adv. “-ίως, παίζεινPolem.Hist. 45.
2. ready to take with either hand, i.e. taking either of two things, indifferent, Trag.Adesp.355 ( = Com.Adesp.360); so ἀμφιδεξίως ἔχει it is indifferent, A.Fr.266.
