ἀνάλγητος , ον,
A.without pain, and so:
I. of persons, insensible to pain or danger, Meliss. ap. Arist.Xen.974a19, cf. EN1115b26.
2. unfeeling, hard-hearted, ruthless, S.Aj.946 (lyr.); -ότερος εἶναι to feel less resentment, Th.3.40: c. gen., . γενέσθαι τινός to be ins nsible to, Plu.Aem.35. Adv. “-τωςunfeelingly, S.Aj.1333; callously,. ἀκούεινPlu.2.46c.
II. of things, not painful, ἀνάλγητα (sc. πράγματα) a lot free from pain, S.Tr.126.
