PTeb.264:—make to cease, stop or hinder from a thing, “χειμῶνος . . ὅς ῥά τε ἔργων ἀνθρώπους ἀνέπαυσενIl.17.550; . τινὰ τοῦ πλάνου give him rest from wandering, S.OC1113; τοὺς λειτουργοῦντας .
