ἀνέκαθεν τὸ ἄνωθεν, cf. Num.13: but -κάς perh. as in ἀνδρα-κάς (A) (q.v.), ἑ-κάς : ἀνεκάς does not contain ἑκάς; ἀνεκάς: ψιλῶς, Phot. p. 129.13 R., i.e. not ἀνηεκάς.
