(Fr.76) downwds. a favourite epith. of Athens; . πόμα a glorious draught, Id.N.3.79, etc.; . εὐνομίῃσιν famous for his justice, IG7.94 (Nisaea), cf. Luc.Tim.38, App.BC2.82, etc.: Sup., Plu.Ant.34:—only once in Hom., and in bad sense, notorious, infamous,ὡς . . ἀνθρώποισι πελώμεθ᾽ ἀοίδιμοιIl.6.358.
