II. Med., οὐ . . γάρ τι νεμεσσητὸν βασιλῆα ἄνδρ᾽ ἀπαρέσσασθαι it is no disgrace for a king to approve a man (or, to appease a man of royal birth), Il.19.183, cf. Sch. and Eust. ad loc.
III. “ἀπαρέσκεσθαί τινι” to be displeased with, Hdn.5.2.5, cf. 5.6.1, 6.1.10, Lyd.Mag.2.7.
