II. Pass., fut. ἀπαρνηθήσεται it shall be denied or refused, S.Ph.527, cf. Ev.Luc.12.9, dub. in LXXIs.31.7: aor. “ὥνθρωπος ἓν μὲν οἶδεν, ἓν δ᾽ ἀπηρνήθηwas refused, Herod.4.74.
