I. c. acc. rei, wipe off, ἀφρόν τ᾽ ἀπέψη E.l.c.; “δάκρυAP5.65Rufin.), cf. Nonn. D.8.205:—Med., wipe or rub off from oneself, τι Ar.Eq.572.
2. . νούσους cure diseases, of Apollo, Herod.4.17.
II. c. acc. pers., wipe clean, Ar.Lys.1035:—Med.
