A.chase, pursuit, esp. of soldiers or ships, Th.3.33, etc.; “δ. ποιεῖσθαι” Id.8.102.
2. pursuit of an object, “τοῦ ὅλου” Pl.Smp.192e; opp. φυγή, Arist.EN1139a22, Epicur.Sent.25; “δ. τῶν καλῶν” Plu.2.550e.
