διάνδι^χα , Adv.
A.= ἄνδιχα, two ways, δ. μερμηρίζειν halt between two opinions, Il.1.189; σοὶ δὲ δ. δῶκε endowed thee by halves, 9.37; in tmesi, “διὰ δ᾽ ἄνδιχα θυμὸν ἔχουσινHes.Op.13; διὰ δ᾽ ἄνδιχα ἔαξα broke it in twain, Theoc.25.256, cf. A.R.2.1109; once in Trag., “δ. κλῇθρα κλίνεταιE.HF1029 (lyr.); also δ. νηὸς ἰούσης, perh. with sails and oars, A.R.1.934.
