διαβι^β-άζω , causal of διαβαίνω,
A.carry over or across, transport, lead over, “δ. τὸν στρατὸν κατὰ γεφύρας” Hdt.1.75; “ἐς τὴν νῆσον ὁπλίτας” Th.4.8: also c. acc. loci, ποταμὸν δ. [τινά] take one across a river, Pl.
