A.going through, piercing, in Hom. only as Adv., πρὼν πεδίοιο διαπρύσιον τετυχηκώς a hill piercing into, running out into, the plain, Il.17.748.
2. of sound, piercing, thrilling, ἤϋσεν δὲ διαπρύσιον he gave a piercing cry, 8.227; “δ. κιθαρίζωνh.Ven. 80: in late Prose, “τορόν τι βοῶν καὶ δ.Agath.4.11.
