διόλλυ_μι or διοικο-ύω (Them.Or.32.356a), fut. -ολέσω, Att.
A.-ολῶS.Tr. (v. infr.):—destroy utterly, bring to naught, Emp.139, S.OT442, Tr. 1028 (lyr.), Pl.Cri.47c, etc.; δ. γυναῖκα ruin a woman, E.El.921:— Pass., with fut. -ολοῦμαι, pf. -όλωλα, perish utterly, come to naught, Th.3.40, etc.; διώλετο ἔκ τινος by some one's hand, S.OT225.
II. blot out of one's mind, forget, εἰδὼς διώλεσα ib.318.
