A.ἐδώρησαHes.Op. 82, Pi.O.6.78:—give, present, “δῶρονHes. l. c.; present one with, θυσίαις Ἑρμᾶν Pi.l.c.:—Pass., aor. δωρηθῆναι to be given or presented, Hdt.1.87, Isoc.4.26: in pf. Pass., “παρὰ θεῶν δῶρα ὑμῖν δεδώρηταιPl. Plt.274c; and of persons, to be presented with a thing, “χώρῃHdt.8.85, cf. S.Aj.1029.
