A.to be ἑταῖρος or comrade to any one, c. dat., “ἀνδρὶ ἑταιρίσσαιIl.24.335 ; of the Graces, h.Ven.96.
2. trans. in Med., associate with oneself, choose for one's comrade, τινά που Τρώων ἑταρίσσαιτοIl.13.456, cf. Call.Dian. 206, Naumach. ap. Stob.4.23.7.
