ἔα^ρ (A), τό, Hom. (only gen. ἔαρος), etc.; contr. ἦρ Alcm.76: gen., dat., ἦρος, ἦρι, Lyr. (Alc.45), Att., and prob. Ion., cf. Hdt.1.77, Hp.
